🗓 Schedule: Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM- 4:30 PM & Every Other Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

What You'll Do

As a Trades Helper, you'll assist skilled maintenance personnel with a variety of maintenance and repair projects throughout the facility. Responsibilities include:

• Assist with painting structures and equipment
• Support concrete repairs, including floors, steps, and sidewalks
• Help with general carpentry projects
• Replace damaged floor tiles, ceiling tiles, and wall paneling
• Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster or compound
• Assist with equipment and machinery maintenance
• Help install sheetrock, including taping and texturing
• Scrub and wax floors
• Move furniture and equipment as needed
• Assist with installing PVC, copper, and black pipe
• Perform general housekeeping and facility maintenance duties

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a skilled trade such as:
  • Automotive
  • Carpentry
  • Electrical
  • HVAC
  • Painting

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain a Government Operator's License
• Ability to read blueprints and freehand sketches
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and flexibility

Background Checks Required

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing:

• General Background Check
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Office of Inspector General (OIG) Exclusions Check
• Office of Personnel Management (OPM)/Federal Investigative Services Security Clearance
