ResponsibilitiesCommunications is responsible for the external communications (branding, press, advertising, social media, digital/websites, conferences & events) and internal communications (intranet, newsletters, digital, events) for SG Americas including our offices in the US, Canada and Brazil. The team works closely with the SG Americas CEO and Executive Committee, as well as key partners in the Business Units, Human Resources and other support functions to communicate key stories and initiatives that help promote SG Americas to its clients, stakeholders, recruits and the broader banking industry.EVENT COORDINATIONSupport the planning and execution of client events, internal conferences, citizenship initiatives, ERG programs, dinners, and other firm-sponsored events in collaboration with Communications, business units, and support functionsCoordinate invitations, registrations, attendee communications, and event data management through SG’s event management systemsSchedule meetings and events within the firm’s internal event spaces and assist with onsite logistics and event executionSupport virtual and hybrid events using platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, SurveyMonkey, and Slido, and work with the AV team to provide event production supportSPONSORSHIP & PATRONAGESupport the coordination and execution of SG’s sponsorship, patronage, and partnership programs across the AmericasManage sponsorship benefits, event activations, and related deliverables in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partnersTrack sponsorship agreements, budgets, commitments, and reporting requirementsCOMMUNICATIONS COORDINATIONSupport local and regional communications initiatives, including internal communications, editorial content, and multimedia projectsAssist with video recording and editing for internal and external communicationsTranslate content between English and French as neededContribute ideas, stories, and content for use across internal and external communications channels A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. It will last 18 months.In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
