No terrazzo experience is required—we provide paid, hands-on training while you earn a competitive wage and learn one of the most respected specialty trades in commercial construction. Founded in 1975, Associated Terrazzo is a family-owned company with nearly 50 years of experience installing high-quality terrazzo throughout Northern California. Our craftsmanship can be found in hospitals, schools, universities, airports, government facilities, commercial buildings, and other landmark projects. What You'll Do ◦ Learn the terrazzo trade from experienced union craftsmen. ◦ Assist with the installation of epoxy and cement terrazzo flooring systems. ◦ Prepare concrete substrates for terrazzo installation. ◦ Install divider strips and decorative patterns. ◦ Mix, place, grind, polish, and finish terrazzo floors. ◦ Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. ◦ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. ◦ Travel to commercial construction projects throughout the Bay Area and Northern California as needed. Qualifications ◦ Military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply. ◦ No terrazzo experience is necessary—we will train the right candidate. ◦ Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. ◦ Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team. ◦ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including kneeling, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods. ◦ Commitment to job site safety and quality workmanship. ◦ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
